Description

Students will be instructed in movement techniques employed by working actors across the globe through the pedagogy of some of the most influential theater makers of our time. By diving deep into concepts and exercise generally first encountered in collegiate level courses, students will move beyond copying choreography and executing blocking to transcending the emotional connection between movement and expression. Over the course of this workshop students will discover and hone their own personal style that allows them to improvise and choreograph with ease through improvisational exercises, storytelling focused choreographies and conditioning techniques designed for the mental and physical longevity of the performer.
