1-Week Non-Audition Summer Camps
We are super excited to be offering week-long non-audition musical theater camps this summer! Each week-long camp will include new songs, choreography and scene work designed with the student’s learning levels in mind. Each week will offer something different, new and exciting. All of our musical theater camps will be held in our Academy Studio right next door to the Stage. Most camps starts each day at 9:00 am and ends at 2:45 Monday – Thursday. Fridays we will stay later to have our performance at 3:45 and be all done at 4:00 (*). Parents are welcome to attend our performance, but we will also record it and make it available each Friday night for families to enjoy! Bring your lunch, comfy clothes, and smile, and join us all summer! Camp size is limited to 15 students so sign up today!
(*) Tech camp, Dance Intensive Camp and Super Kids Improv Camp will not include a performance on the last day, and will release at the normal time.
Jump right in to this summer’s shows with a week-long dance intensive, taught by Amy Sullivan, Alexander Iacuzzo, and more! Featuring stretch classes, ballet, tap, jazz, musical theatre, and modern, this week will prepare you for our summer programming (especially A Chorus Line) and beyond. With a strong focus on technique and level differentiation based on ability, this week-long intensive will have something new for everyone and leave you a more confident dancer.
Our theater program is founded by a strong technical theater department. Students will be immersed in their art and help design a fully realized show for live performancesfor the season. Campers will learn to build and construct large and varied pieces of scenery. Students will design, paint and construct incredible pieces! Learn how to properly use tools, create unique sets, and let your artistic talent shine.
Songs from the “good guys” and “bad guys” of musical theatre — Form Hercules to the Queen of Hearts we will sing, dance and act through it all!
We will learn some of our favorites from musical movies. The Greatest Showman, Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory and the Muppets!
What happens when our favorite princesses (and Princes) get together for a picnic? Way too much fun! Elsa, Anna and Cinderella are sure to make an appearance!
Independence Day is a great time to learn some of the old patriotic music and celebrate our country!
So many songs from shows drop us right in the water! The Little Mermaid, Moana and a few surprises! Don’t worry, we won’t actually be getting wet!
Learn and explore the Elements of Improv in our Summer improv camp. There will not be a performance at the end of this camp. Students will be released at noon on Friday.
We will learn more of our favorites from musical movies. The Music Man, Tangled and the Jungle Book and more!
