We are so excited about our Summer Productions! Our students have been working diligently on some fantastic shows, behind the scenes, and on the stage. With classic tales, Alice in Wonderland and Peter Pan Jr., to the gospel, and topping off the season with our mainstage, A Chorus Line! You will not want to miss this season! Join our performers as they have you on the edge of your seat, laughing, gasping, and cheering.

Presenting Alice in Wonderland, A Stage Play

Based on the beloved classic by Lewis Carroll, Alice in Wonderland is a reimagining of Wonderland. Alice encounters several queens, joins a mad tea party, listens to poetry, and is accused of stealing the Queen’s tarts. This is a traditional telling of the beloved story of Alice in Wonderland with all the characters you know and love., she is immersed in a fantastical, strange land where everyone is raving mad. Filled with zany characters, Alice in Wonderland is the perfect play for young and old audiences alike. Get lost in Wonderland and you’ll never want to leave the tea party! With the help of a Cheshire Cat, an astute Caterpillar, and some other friends, Alice must find her way home and discover who she really is.

Presenting Peter Pan Jr.
Peter and his mischievous fairy sidekick, Tinkerbell, visit the nursery of Wendy, John, and Michael Darling late one night and, with a sprinkle of pixie dust, begin a magical journey across the stars that none of them will ever forget. In the adventure of a lifetime, the travelers come face to face with a ticking crocodile, the fierce Brave Girls, a band of bungling pirates, and, of course, the villainous Captain Hook.

Presenting Summer 2023 Cabaret
With student Emcees and a host of incredible performers, our talented students get to shine with their favorite music. Have a song or scene you’ve been dying to perform with your friends from WSPA? This is your opportunity! You will audition with your entire proposed cabaret piece. Please fill out the form once per PIECE, not once per person. You may audition up to two pieces.
Tickets: $10 ($6 for WSPA Students)

Presenting Godspell Jr.

A group of disciples helps Jesus Christ tell different parables by using a wide variety of games, storytelling techniques, and a hefty dose of comic timing. An eclectic blend of songs, ranging in style from pop to vaudeville, is employed as the story of Jesus’ life dances across the stage. Dissolving hauntingly into the Last Supper and the Crucifixion, Jesus’ messages of kindness, tolerance, and love come vibrantly to life. Ages 10-18

Presenting A Chorus Line: Teen Edition

A Chorus Line is a stunning concept musical capturing the spirit and tension of a Broadway chorus audition. Exploring the inner lives and bittersweet ambitions of professional Broadway performers, the show features one powerhouse number after another. Memorable musical numbers include “What I Did for Love, “One,” “I Can Do That,” “At the Ballet,” “The Music and the Mirror,” and “I Hope I Get It.” A brilliantly complex fusion of song, dance, and compellingly authentic drama, A Chorus Line was instantly recognized as a classic.
