SUMMER 2023

Audition Production Camps

We are ready to kick off Summer 2023 and it is going to be an amazing summer with something for everyone! Check out all the details here and remember that if you are new to audition level productions, a parent meeting will be required during your student’s audition.

This version of the play was written in 1921 and opens with Carroll explaining the game of chess to his niece Alice. She soon falls asleep and is transported to Wonderland where she has many wondrous and bizarre adventures with illogical and strange creatures. She encounters several queens, joins a mad tea party, listens to poetry, and is accused of stealing the Queen’s tarts. This is a traditional telling of the beloved story of Alice in Wonderland with all the characters you know and love.

Peter and his mischievous fairy sidekick, Tinkerbell, visit the nursery of the Wendy, John, and Michael Darling late one night and, with a sprinkle of pixie dust, begin a magical journey across the stars that none of them will ever forget. In the adventure of a lifetime, the travelers come face to face with a ticking crocodile, the fierce Brave Girls, a band of bungling pirates and, of course, the villainous Captain Hook.

A group of disciples help Jesus Christ tell different parables by using a wide variety of games, storytelling techniques and a hefty dose of comic timing. An eclectic blend of songs, ranging in style from pop to vaudeville, are employed as the story of Jesus’ life dances across the stage. Dissolving hauntingly into the Last Supper and the Crucifixion, Jesus’ messages of kindness, tolerance and love come vibrantly to life.

A Chorus Line is a stunning concept musical capturing the spirit and tension of a Broadway chorus audition. Exploring the inner lives and bittersweet ambitions of professional Broadway performers, the show features one powerhouse number after another. Memorable musical numbers include “What I Did for Love, “One,” “I Can Do That,” “At the Ballet,” “The Music and the Mirror,” and “I Hope I Get It.” A brilliantly complex fusion of song, dance, and compellingly authentic drama, A Chorus Line was instantly recognized as a classic.
